Samta’s Helpers
During the holiday season of 2020, I realized it had been a very tough year, and I knew it would be difficult for families to afford Christmas presents. I decided to do something about it.
If you were a parent who lost their job, had their hours cut, or were just struggling financially and needed help getting a toy for your child, I put together my “Samta’s Helpers” and collected money from my community online to purchase gifts for those children. Gifts ranged from pajamas, small toys, to even just diapers – all priced around $25. Through the generosity of my followers, we were able to raise $12,183 and send gifts to 404 children to make their holiday a little more magical.
In 2021, we are did it all over again. I am still in shock. Thank YOU for being here, for trusting me, and for supporting me. We raised $22,900 in two months, and we have sent gifts to 811 children this year. You have helped me take some of the stress off of these parents who weren’t in a position to buy their children gifts this holiday season. In 2022 we so amazingly raised $19,000 and sent gifts to 750 children!
I have closed 2023’s submission forms because I am still currently with 371 children that need gifts and will not have time to take on any more.
I am working hard to get to as many of these submissions as I can before the holidays!
