HOSPITAL BAG ESSENTIALS
I asked you guys what your “go-to” items were when preparing your hospital bag and here is what you said:
Chapstick
Slippers
Sleep/eye Mask
Snacks for you and hubby for the stay since your partner cannot leave (covid)
Your own pillow and blanket (for partner too)
Long charger for your phone (I’m going to link the portable charger I am OBSESSED with here when I round up my hospital bag essentials)
Ear plugs
Lanolin for your nipples
Lotion
Change for vending machine
Thick socks
Nursing bra
Hair ties / Hair brush
Make-up remover (I brought wipes because it’s just easier)
Frida mom disposable underwear (have to try these out- I used the ones the hospital gave me)
A change of clothes for you (loose fitting, do not recommend elastic) and for baby
SHOWER SANDALS (regretted not having these last time- woof)
PJs (going to link the most comfy pair that I have and am for sure brining because great for breast feeding too)
Robe
Nightgown
Nursing Tanks
Wash cloths
LMFAO THIS ANSWER WAS MY FAV: “No lie: we snuck booze in a thermos” lmfaooooo
Travel Shampoo/Conditioner (that first shower is literally the best feeling in the world)
FridaBaby PeriBottle (better than the one the hospital gives you)
A lot of people are saying you'r own hospital gown??
Eye patches (really make you feel alive in the morning) lol
Dry Shampoo
Deodorant
Razor
Toothbrush/Toothpaste
Nursing pillow
Many are saying sound machine - I personally didn’t bring one and probably will not ( I think it’s important for baby to learn to sleep with noise around them )
Baby velcro swaddle
Baby mittens
Your own towel (the ones they give you are so tiny)
leave a comment below with any essentials that I missed!
